The Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour Reaches Mohegan Sun on May -More Info

Equal parts the most eagerly awaited and completely dreaded tour in the annals of rock and roll, reaches the immediate area on Saturday, May 12th when they play the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am thru Live Nation.

The Boys are currently in the studio working on an album to be co-produced by Mike Love and Brian Wilson. Love can't lick the soles of Wilson's shoes but there you go.

Wilson has gone on record as saying this is a money making proposition. He has been bullied into it, and he couldn't turn down the bucks. Really, this is the Beach Boys Cousins And Sworn Enemies tour.

By a sad coincidence, this is also the 14th anniversary of Brian's brother and possibly the most loved Beach Boy Carl Wilsons death. Will I go? If this is the only area concert I will scalp a tix and go, otherwise I am gonna hold out for something closer to hime. By the way, the tix are really cheap. $75 and $55. I dunno, maybe I'll go there. I mean, I can always catch em twice, right?

I can't read this one -I have seen Wilson many times since his return to touring, and it might be great and it might make you squirm yourself to death. Eith way, it's the Beach Boys… without Dennis and carl.
