Recorded: for a not great week it had some good albums and singles: “All Day” and “Some Peace Of Mind” for the singles, Brandi Carlile and the surprisingly good Gateway Drugs for the albums. Noel Gallagher was better than his first solo album though it could sure use Liam’s voice.

Politics: The Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu warned Congress that a deal with Iran may well lead to nuclear war. But, the alternatives are equally distasteful. In the end, if Israel is so freaked about Iran going nuclear why don’t they blow up the power plant and if they can’t, why are they complaining about any kind of deal.

Sports: The return of A-Rod, who can’t field and can’t hit for power, and may still be the best Yankee out there.
