Musically I’ll take Taylor: but emotionally? She is so emotionally retarded it is like she never got out of junior high. It is as if her entire concept of life is based around some sort of eternal Spring Term. Go to classes, find boy, lose boy, find boy again: all crying in the rain and tears on her guitar and daydream break ins and break ups: one long some day romeo will arrive: “Please save me” Saved.
And there is no edit on this stuff: like that completely inappropriate and (I might add) in intensely bad taste “Back To December”. Poor Lautner: he must be cringing. It is one thing to be dumped by one of the most famous girls in the world, it is something else entirely to be apologized to in song. “This is me swallowing my pride”? “You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye”? She’s a fucking fool. I’d go Chris Brown on her ass if she did it to me. I bet Lautner goes to bed each nigh thanking god for saving him from that blabbermouth.
