Taken Off Spinner But Posted Before the End Of Gay Pride Week

Back in the day, when men and women were persecuted for their sexual orientation, I supported gay pride in its every permutation. Today? Isn’t it all a little whatever? What’s to be proud of? When it comes to sexuality, pride only works in contradistinction to shame. Since shame in homsexuality is, essentially, dead, what’s the point in gay pride?
It is all a form of jingoism. It’s all so us against them.
