I first heard Supergrass when I used to hang at a UK import store on the east Village in the nineties -picking up Oasis b-Sides and Blur Japanese imports.
I missed the first album I Should Coco but the store had a damaged sleeved second album In It For The Money, with “Sun Hits The Sky” and the title track highlights on a real good album
With a hard pop rock sound and a cool live show Supergrass were the last men standing from the brit Pop invasion and now after one last tour, they are calling it quits this summer.
No word yet but they always found their way to NYC so here’s hoping we get one last concert!!
