Suicide Silence has released the cover art for their upcoming album The Black Crown. The album is going to be released on July 12th.
The cover has that stereotypical "hardcore" band lettering that every band has now, because of Suicide Silence. The cover seems to be just sort of random, without meaning. Upon first glance, it's boring and cliche. However, when I actually looked at it, it seems a bit less thoughtless. I don't really understand it, and I don't think I will till I actually listen to the album. I am a bit disappointed at the cover art because it seems lacking in any real thought. It has everything you associate hardcore bands with. Skeletons, the grim reaper, a weird eye, etc.
I just don't see the big deal.
