Radio Exile have posted the ‘holy grail” of Elliot Smith songs, his final recording, “Suicide machine”. The Radio Exile guy thinks it is alright but not a major find.
It is an excellent song – I really love it.
And while Radio Exile can find no connection/collaboration of the was he pushed or did he jump, my feeling is Elliott Smith falls into his own epitaph here: if “everybody wants to turn me into a suicide machine” doesn’t drip with irony you haven’t been connecting the dots here.
