Steve Jobs Is Dead And All I Got Was This Crap Bruno Mars Track For A Buck Thirty

If there is one thing we can all agree upon, it is that is we can all agree upon one thing, we're probably all wrong.

Steve Jobs was a tech guru, yeah I got it. And if you wanna read about it there is around a million tributes (including Alyson's on this website), so be my guest.

But I am not satisfied with what he did to the music industry with ITunes.

Why, with no manufacturing or distribution fees was it so expensive? How did Job, in partnership with the major labels, over charge the planet earth. What are we paying for? If they are not making CDS or album covers, if they are not shipping the product to record stores, what the fucking hell is with the pricing.

In the middle of a recession tottering on the edge of a depression, Jobs upped the prices by 30%. Oh, no wait, there was going to be tier pricing. What nonsense. Tier this.

To add insult to injury, whenever a musician died, they upped the prices. Isn't that called grave robbing? My nephew explained that they probably had a sales matrix, whenever sales went up, prices automatically followed them. So think about that for a moment, the only game in town fucked you the moment he knew you wanted to buy something.

There is no mention of Jobs death on the ITunes store and maybe that's as it should be (life is a very exclusive club) and one of the ironies here -and one of the levelers, is that all the money in the world couldn't save him. But if he wanted to be remembered well by me, he shouldn't have overpriced the music.

Finally, streaming music is killing digital music, so who knows what the future brings for ITunes, but if they fell I'd be happy to kick its rotting carcus the thieving, monopolist scum.
