Spin Magazine, quite possibly the worst major rock publication ever (well, except for “Circus”) since Guccione sold it, have come up with their throughly pathetic best albums of the past 25 years.
I don’t even know what to say about this rag: Blender had more pure rock spitir in their letters to the editor than these guys can muster.
Anyway here it is:
1. Achtung Baby – U2
2. Sign O’ The Times – Prince
3. Meat Is Murder – The Smiths
4. Nevermind – Nirvana
5. OK Computer – Radiohead
I could live with the middle three MAYBE, but the first and the fifth are ridiculous.
