Although it was done before, I had never heard of a marketing of this sort but it’s working because I am exactly doing right now what they want me to do: blogging about Indie artists who have made a mp3 which eventually will increase their shoe sales… just because getting a song for free is attractive.
Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi (Kid Cuti) has the rap part, Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast) the chorus and Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire weekend) produces the song
‘All summer’, a nice sunny rock-rap tune about drinking water during the summer.
I’m not gonna lie, I am not familiar with Kid Cuti’s work, nor Best Coast, I have just downloaded it because of the Vampire Weekend connection
