Slash’s iTunes Session with Myles Kennedy on vocals, is out now and without a doubt awesome.
6 tunes recorded for ITunes.
“Back from Cali” and “Starlight” are the two Myles Kennedy fronted songs on Slash’s self-titled album. Kennedy just sings his heart out on these two songs.
Also on this EP is a cover of the Led Zep tune “Communication Breakdown”, and the GnR song “Rocket Queen”. These two versions are amazing, probably the best I heard, other than the original recordings with Robert Plant and Axel Rose.
The other 2 tunes on this 6-song EP are tunes from Slash’s (now on hiatus) super group, Velvet Revolver. “Fall to Pieces” and “Sucker Train Blues” sounded great when Scott Wieland recorded them, however Myles Kennedy hits them straight on.
This was a great investment of $4.99. I will suggest you down-load it today!
Happy New Year!
