Sonny Moore, better known as Skrillex, has had something beyond tragic happen to him.
He was in Milan, Italy and had his two laptops stolen.
He said: "Just gonna set it strait. I had 2 laptops and both of my hard drives stolen out of my hotel in Milan Italy last month. On those laptops and drives were all the project files of Skrillex. All gone now. Also I had a new album that is now gone too. I spent a week pulling my hair out but now im just focussing on the future and re making my album."
Now you've gotta be a real jerk to do something like this in the first place, and as a fan of Skrillex, this is beyond disappointing. What a low blow. Seriously, grow up. Stealing has always been a stupid concept to me, especially something like a laptop or other piece of technology. You have no idea of that person's job or lifestyle.
I'm thoroughly angry with the person who did this, and sad that a music artist with such talent and fan base had to have this happen. I suggest everyone catch him on his summer tour (I will) and purchase tons of merch to help him recover the loss.
