In The Present – Live From Lyon – Yes – There has never been a period in my life when I've considered Yes anything more than the worse band ever. Yeah, even when the cool sleeves suckered me in at the begining of their career. I used to believe that if they toned it down a notch or two and stopped acting like such pompous asses maybe I'd grow to not hate them… well, with no Rick Wakeman to sexually brutalize the keyboards they tone it down. At it is unbearable. Grade: D+
Whatever – Hot Chelle Rae – Middle brow American pop with a sheen of modesty and anonymity. The hit doesn't help. Grade: C+
Gish And Siamese Dreams (Deluxe) – Smashing Pumpkins – Time has treated both these albums exceedingly well, the playing is both over the top and tight as hell, and Corgan's vocals are nowhere near the irritatnt they'd be five years on. The Peel sessions are plenty hot. Grade: B+
Sacred Fire EP – Jimmy Cliff – Rancid, the Clash and Bob Dylan covers by the Reggae giant. Rancid is best. Grade: B+
Inevitable – Trey Songz – I don't hate Songz if I don't have to watch him sexing the girls in his audience. I don't much like him either. Grade: C+
The Singles Collection – 2001 – 2011 – Gorlliaz – I can take em much better like this than either on an album or in person. But in the end, they are way too pretensious for my taste: Grade: B
Live At Ameoba – Elie Goulding – She needs a band to signify, who voice is too hoarse and intense without one. Grade: C
