o.n.i.f.c – Wiz Khalifa – Who says marijuana doesn't effect your brain. On the Weeknd featured track "Remember You" the beats are so bubdued its like they are covered in linoleum, and the sound has the hazy lazy weed-y drag that appears to be taking trip hop and dubbing it downwards. It doesn't suck quite, it just bores. Like this rest of this album – Grade: C
Tish Tosh – Scott Walker – American ex-pat is a weirdo par excellence. Remember that movie Fargo, where Steve Busemi is stuffed in a wood chipper? That's what Walker does to Kurt Weil – Grade: B
Fall To Grace – Paloma Faith – Retro soul by a woman who must be damned pleased at having finally broken through. Thank Nellee Hooper but also thank a mainstream sensibilty that acts as if it might be cutting edge but really isn't. AOR for thirtysomethings – Grade: B-
A Wrenched Viral Lore – Mogwai – Just that the world needs a remix album of an album that sounds like a remix album – Grade: C+
Warrior – Ke$ha – She can't maintain the glam electro pop bad girl vibe over 16 tracks, but she circles the possibility of what might have been if she had cut it down to 30 minutes,. My advice, hook up with Julian Casablancas for an entire album next time – Grade: B+
Here's To The Good Times – Florida Georgia Line – Not bad when they remain in country pop mode, real bad when they blues it up.. ARe these all the same band? – Grade: C
