Since all I've done for the past coupla years is write about music and work in advertising, I decided to take the day off the other day.
Now, when I say write about music, I mean over 50 a week. I mean, I write more than I do anything else at all, maybe, if you take out sleeping, more than I do anything else COMBINED.
So a movie, and sports on TV, that was my plan for the day.
But soon my brain started ticking against its will and I started to think of short stories all featuring Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. Since I can't stomach the guy, I have no idea why I did this but never being able to look a gift post, allow me to share it with you:
1. Dave Grohl has a punch up with the blonde druggy drummer in the Foo Fighters, breaks his thumb, hit hitchhikes back to West Hollywood with a guy who turns out to be the ghost of Jeffrey Dahmer.
2. Dave Grohl travels back in time to try and stop the Kurt Cobain/Courtney Love marriage.
3. Dave Grohl changes his garage from a studio to a Batcave, and with the blonde drummer, go off to fight the forces of evil. I was thinking of a modern Raymond Chandler type thing.
4. Dave Grohl in high school -the slacker, the drummer, the woman's man losing his virginity to Led Zep's "California"
5. Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl want to run for president/vp of the USA but first Mick Jagger has to prove he was born in the States.
6. Dave Grohl gets lost in the Bermuda triangle and finds himself in Lilliput where he pretends he is really Kurt Cobain…. Or Jack Black… or both.
7. Dave Grohl And Kurt Cobain: A Gay Fantasia of desire and defeatism. It's called "Mama, Take me Home".
8. Dave Grohl infiltrates the velvet mafia. Cock sucking a plenty in this one.
9. Keith Moon never dies but forms a band (I know: the irony is deadly) with Dave Grohl. Imagine it, Moon and Grohl. It's call the Who Fighters.
10. Dave Grohl retires and starts a music blog, writes short stories about a blogger named Iman Lababedi. All really meta.
