Ur going with Interpol over Scissor Sisters?’ wrote me Iman the other day when I told him I had a ticket to go to see Interpol playing in the Jimmy Kimmel Live, whereas Scissor Sisters were doing a free in-store at Amoeba the same evening.
Well yes, and I am just coming back from the parking lot of El Capitan theater where Interpol did their mini outdoor concert, and it was great, I will report tomorrow!
They played 5 songs, ‘Barricade’, ‘Summer Well’, and ‘Success’ (from their new album ‘Interpol’) and ‘The Heinrich Maneuver’ (from ‘Our Love to admire’), ‘Not even jail’ (from ‘Antics’). Still don’t get why they did not give a real name to their last album.
The only bad thing: the no camera policy.
I missed the Sisters but I still have a picture of their show at Amoeba and the set list!
