Got the news on Facebook that the new lp was available and tread lightly cuz you know how I am with girl singers we just don’t get along

Starting off with “Jesus Saves” vocals are precise and pretty. Adorable in a Spektor lilt of an accent undefined. The whirling back ground (and I think I hear xylophone) is 80s reminiscent of dance party’s and light sticks.
I have to say again I love the music, Scanners has a great sound. I need to get over my chick thing because with all due respect Sarah Daley has a beautiful haunting and sexy voice. The back up vocals support and add a great dimension
Gorgeous is the only word needed to describe ‘We Never Close Our Eyes’, this hits me in the gut. Shes conjuring up her inner Siouxie here bit of Chrissy omg.. I love it My top pic of the album
“Baby Blue” sounds like a Beatle song if John were a girl. But again I cant find one thing negative to say about it.
“A Girl Like You”, has fantastic lyrics and are delivered in a punchy but smoldering sense. I can’t hate her no matter how I try.
“Half A Mind” reminds me more of Siouxie than any other. The soft distortion adds that dark moody feel that made The Banshees so magikal.
I can say that the album should end there. “Sleepwalking Life” and “Halfway Home” aren’t worthy. So chances are they’ll be the most popular to others.
