Saint Motel "Benny Goodman" Reviewed
rocknyc heroes Saint Motel put their song "Benny Goodman" up for a free download, so I had to snag it. SM is a 4 piece band from LA with a unique sound that's quick to grab your attention, and holds it.
The tune has a really fun, funky beat. It's quite intriguing because it mixes in totally unique sounds and riffs and combines them with a few simplistic elements, making it holistically one of a kind and outstanding. There are so many different parts to it, that it's extraordinarily interesting and just entertaining to listen to- but even better to dance to. I love lead singer A/J Jackson's voice and how well it blends, but isn't lost at all, with the instruments. Their whole sound is unlike anything I've heard before, and it feels effortless. The whole song is completely flawless.
