“Who Are You New York” by Rufus Wright starts out with a powerful, uplifting piano intro and pushes through with untouchable vocals. His voice is more than beautiful and incredibly smooth. I’ve never heard a voice as …perfect as his.
From a pianist’s perspective, he is so incredibly gifted it’s stunning. The perfect timing and there’s not a dull moment. He has had some wonderful piano training and has clearly been playing for a very long time.
The song is completely, utterly, totally perfect. There’s nothing wrong with it, and it’s not just a song, but a ballad. Definitely not my style of music, but I love it. Brilliantly done song.
