Rolling Stone Magazine Doing What they Always Do With The Beatles: Making Money

Elvis Costello, who you would expect, or not expect, to know better has written the foreword to RS latest rip off for people who should really know much better.
100 best tracks? What the hell is that???
Let me make it really easy. If you really give a shit about the Beatles music best tracks (and what does Best Tracks mean when it comes to the Beatles… what a stupid fucking concept) go on to amazon.com and buy Tim Riley’s brilliant “Tell Me Why” which reviews every track with a clarity and a simplicity that illuminates with ease. His writing on Lennon’s cover of “Twist And Shout” and, maybe ever more so, “Money” is among the best writing ever on the great man.
I haven’t, though I may, read RS’s latest piece of useless crap, but I know I don’t need to.
That’s Tim Riley in case you forgot.
