Forty three years at your fingertips? Oh brave new world..
I don’t believe there is a music blogger in the world who isn’t gonna do this: pony the $3.95 a month $29.95 a year (plus free subscription to the print version) for access online to everything issue of Rolling Stone in their 43 years, as well as the most current issue as it becomes available starting Monday according to the Associated Press.
To put it simply, it is invaluable as a research tool.
The Stone kinda screwed their current subscriber base (especially those who paid $100 for a life time subscription back int he day) because print subscribers don’t get in automatically.
I am hoping the rock rag is smart enough to leave their current free access available as well and I will have my review of the website once I’ve had the chance to look at it (I will absolutely subscribe, there is no option).
