rock nyc is coming up on its second anniversary and has emerged from being a one man blog about music, to the evolving music website you see before you.
There have been three major changes since April 8th, 2009.
1. Helen Bach, Mike Nessing and Woody Fuller becoming staff writers.
2. Helen Bach taking on the responsibility of co-editor.
3. rock nyc going into partnership with Corporate PA.
Since the beginning of the year rock nyc has gone through a complete re-design and switched servers. Meanwhile, readership is increasing by 30% a month.
Since the editorial content has remained somewhat constant, the huge increase in readership is due to Corporate PA.
Corporate Performance Artist is owned by Joseph Franklin and his wife Donna Mcelroy. These two people are, quite literally, artists. They came out of New York's art, jazz, avant garde demimonde and used their visions as artists, as thinking about websites and viewership in different ways, to influence their business.
