If rock nyc looks even more hobbled together than the usualĀ over the next couple of days, it’s because we are trying to do three days work in three hours as we hobble together Wednesday and Thursdays post at the speed of sound. Which we do any way. When people complain about typos I tend to resist the urge to punch em, but I understand why. I figure a 1000 word post takes me about two hours. I mean an album or a live review, that’s about it, so I figure I spend probably four hours a day writing and more on the weekend.
We are changing servers which meansĀ a two day break for me since I have no real choice and maybe that’s just as well but it also means the website won’t be timely for the next couple of days as we change servers.
So we are not going down down, but we won’t be around and if someone famous croaks we won’t have the story. Everything you see for the next two days was written in a mad rush on Monday before we change servers.
When we get back I should be leading off with my Pet Shop Boys live review so that’s exciting right?
Meanwhile co-editor Helen and I, and contributing writer Alyson camus may actually spend a day without writing for the first time in quite literally years.
For now, no whining about typos and cut and paste jobs till we get back.
