An album, one of the cutest albums of all time, called Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Weezer is being released on 2/15/11. If only they had one of The Ramones back when I was a kid.
Apparently, there are also renditions of The Beatles, Metallica, and Nine Inch Nails, along with a bunch more. These albums, all by the same various artists, are cute and sound like the instruments are xylophones and those little kid pianos. It’s soft and lovely and is a hug for your ears.
You can easily tell the melodies, and it’s simple enough that you can hum or sing along. “Island In The Sun” is cute and fun, “My Name Is Jonas” is quite catchy, and is stuck in my head now, but my favourite? “Beverly Hills”. It’s so clever and happy and the best on the album.
You know how people make their babies listen to Mozart to make them geniuses? If your baby listens to this, it’ll make them cool. Todd should have little Parker listen to this, he’ll grow up to be a rockstar.
