Rising Cobra the brainchild of Tim Maynard of Summit School of the Performing Arts rocked the Main Pub in Manchester CT today.
Bassist Aaron Ridgeway, Guitarists Bryan Graves and Jordan Lindley, Drummer Hunter Stone, and our own (my daughter!) Mary Magpie on vocals and keyboards took 5 weeks of rehearsal to create an awesome freshman show.
There’s alot to be said about taking 5 kids and making a band, but they did it and it was fantastic.
Strong musicians in their own right, the packed pub got a first hand glimpse of the future of rock and roll. I’m amazed at what can be accomplished in such a short amount of time.
Stand out performance was the bands cover of “Attack” by 30 Seconds To Mars. Insane guitar work showed the dedication of these talented teenagers.
