Before there was Falu there was… Cornershop: Bollywood, Dance, Sitar, Alt, Dance all mixed up and ready to shop and all well before its time.
Around since 1991, in 1997 they released “Brimful Of Asha” and the world held its breath in amazement but while the next album was a maintenance act, the sound was too specialized for the States and they haven’t been here since 2002.
But with an album released this Spring Judy Sucks A Lemon For Breakfast (which I didn’t check out but don’t know why i didn’t) Brooklyn Vegan reports they are touring the States this Autumn .
