How times have change how appearance has changed but in keeping with tradition they have released Christmas cheer to their fan club members, and since I am not I have snagged it elsewhere.
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is not sung by Stipe but it has a sorta REM feel, sorta.
A band really isn’t a band unless the ‘regular vocal’ is there.
Well this isn’t earth shatteringly good but just another remake for those who love a band to hear and call their fave.
The flip side is called “IHT>U>EDIYTW (Dubmix)”. This starts interestingly enough. But bores me mid way. I’d expect more. I expect nothing these days from REM so I suppose this’ll do. Its an artsy ‘meh-fest’, that’s more like sound than a song. Anyway, there is a new release on the horizon, Collapse Into Now, currently slated to come out next April.
