Sex and Drugs and Birthday Cake!
Happy Birthday to Ian Dury who would have celebrated his 68th birthday today May 12.
Most known for the his work in the band Ian Dury and The Blockheads he cranked out the new wave hits of “Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll” and and my preferred “Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick”
I suppose I have to mention he had polio, I suppose I have to mention his infamous spasticity.. but Id rather not.
Id rather just say he was cool as hell and wrote some amazing stuff.
Dury passed away in March 2000. The worlds been a wee less hip since.
