R. Kelly Tries, fails, To Be The Next Stevie Wonder -by Iman Lababedi

In 2004, r. kelly released his feel good atempt to place his name on the mantlepiece next to Stevie which it emulated to the point of plagiarism, Happy People/U Saved Me.
The album was a stiff because the album didn’t fit. Kelly is a sexual predator and pervert, attracted to young teen girls and deviant sexual practises.

But it  isbaggage that a) means when hedesualizes his love, it comes out as parody and b) just isn’t being bought by the world at large.
“Echo” is believable and great “Love Letters” isn’t and isn’t. Last years Untitled, is vastly better than the new one and the reason is that not only don’t we the audience believe Kelly has the moral fiber of Wonder, neither does he.
He is being presumptious.
Not a bad album but…
