In some ways he’s better and some way’s he’s worse but his fanatical audience -me for instance, wouldn’t be fanatical if MOF or Outer South. Just an acoustic guitar and though he sounds as though he’s decrying he isn’t really, he is bringing benidictions. “Be glad that you’re thee, suddeny you can feel the knots in your heart untire, and suddenly it’s Ok to say you’re alright.” Goddamn make me cry.

Never Knew I Need – Ne-Yo – A perfect distraction of a Ne-Yo song. Chris Clarke would approve.
Hate Everyone – Say Anthing – emo band rewrites “Rudy Can’t Fail” on the verses before falling into an ultimate chorus: “I hate everyone upon this cursed earth”.

Genius Of Fun – Love Grenades – Just totally obsessed with this rewrite of the Tom Tom Club’s song
Ala Hoo Gurdas Mann- The very popular Punjab singer gives a bravado perfermance on this song. Falu’s cover earlier today at Varnegie Hall pinpointed the chorus and therby made it easier for, not just a young, but equally a Western audience. To listen to the original is fascinating… the chorus only appears twice and is not used as a hook -though to my ears, Falu got it right, because you keep on waiting for it to come round again.
Turn The Page – Metallica – The best song of a pretty good concert off Garage, inc.
Fromage – Les Rock Stars – From yesterday’s The Simpsons. A really good the French can’t rock but they can try parody: “ooh lala, quelle domage, everybody eats fromage”. Hysterical.
