Pitbull cancelled his Phoenix gig because of Arizona’s new State law which allows the police to ask for documents proving people they stop for other reasons live in the country legally.
A coupla things come directly to mind here.
a) the less law, the more freedom
b) all very WW2 “show your papers” Nazi Bergman and Bogarty, right? And the State is on the side of the bad guys.
c) All laws that infringe on freedom end up where you don’t wanna go.
d) Arizon is a mess and the Feds need to do something
e) who does Pitbull -one of my fave spanish-hip hop supergreat performaers… he even gives Iglesias a pair of balls – thing is he hurting? Perhaps he would have been better off making his feelings known on stage and giving the bucks from the concert to organizations against the new law.
