Tuesday – Mogwai – Webster Hall – Great experimental instrumental band coming off a real good album.
Wednesday – Laura Marling – Wenster Hall – English folkies latest is tough going but her first was awesome and her latest is growing on me
Thursday – Adrian Belew Trio – Iridium – Part of the 70s pro rock movement, he has worked with everyone from Frank Zappa to David Bowie and has been pretty awesome solo as well
Friday – Chris Brown – Nassau coliseum – His last album was pretty excellent and he can dance like a motherfucker. Also, T-Pain and Kelly Rowland are with him, either of which are well worth catching.
Saturday – Panda Bear – A busy week at Webster Hall, I'll be checking this guy out and I predict it will be a touch static.
Sunday – Paul Anka – St George Theater – Why will this guy not play the city? I am gagging to see him live and he will go to Staten Island and skip Manhattan…
