Last time I saw Taylor Swift she was losing a lot of credibility in my eyes performing a by the numbers show in New Jersey. The Fearless tour. Needless to add, my opinion was a minority one! So I am back on Tuesday (she is also performing Monday) for the Speak Now MSG stop. What do I expect? More of the same. Why am I going? Because it's Taylor Swift.
Monday – Peter Murphy – Irving Plaza – The King of Goth's last album didn't leave much of an impression, still worth catching.
Wednesday – The Ap Tour – Starland Ba So I am back on Tuesday (she is also performing Monday) for the Speak Now MSG stop. What do I expect? More of the same. Why am I going? Because it's Taylor Swift.llroom – Four Year Strong and Gallows? And hasn't Gallows lead singer quit? Should be fun.
Thursday – Strawberry Fields – – BB Kings – Beatles tribute band and turkey… who could ask for anything more?
Friday – The Cure – Beacon Theater – Playing their first three albums and me without a ticket.
Saturday – Nellie McKay – Hiro Ballroom – One of the best rooms in the city guesting one of my favorite cbaret performers.
Sunday – Frank Ocean – Bowery Ballroom – The recheduled debut by a great soul man in waiting.
