Phildel: Like Walking Down A Hallway In A Glass House by Mary Magpie

Phildel, a UK-based artist, can put you in a peaceful musical trance.

“The Disappearance of the Girl” is something I wouldn’t usually like or be able to tolerate, but there’s something I can’t put my finger on. Possibly because it reminds me of the little tunes I hum in my head while walking from class to class. It simply makes you hypnotized in the best kind of way.

“Storm Song” is the perfect song to take a long walk in a dark, cold forest to. Gripping and powerful, the beating of the drum and high vocals make it a gothic, smoky scene.

“Ghost” is almost disturbing it brings back so many memories, good and bad. You can tell that heart and soul went into this song. It’s definitely going on my list of songs to learn to play on the piano. It’s touching and rare that music can make my heart feel a certain way, and this song does that.

“Beside You” is beautiful and makes you think of at least one person when you hear it. It sounds like something that’d be in a Tim Burton movie. Walking down a hallway in a glass house is where someone should be singing this song.

Phildel has a gorgeous voice and the ability to make you feel like you’ve never felt. Whether it makes your heart sing or cry, it is powerful as anything.
