Peter Blake To Update Sgt Pepper's Cover Artwork

Well, now the artist whio created it, Peter Blake, has mad a new patriotic version. according to contact.com

I guess what Pete is doing, patriotic questions notwithstanding, is taking possession of what he considers his own. As we near the end, we add up the achievements and balance them in the grand scheme of things and see how they balance out in the end. Blake's new cover features" the flag of St. George, Peter's three daughters Liberty, Daisy and Rose, as well as a number of celebrities including Sir Ridley Scott, Kate Moss, Eric Clapton and late singer Amy Winehouse".

It's an odd mish mosh and not quite the same as the original: it is more like a roll call of eh? But why? Except… notice his three daughters will be on the cover and you see what is triggering all of these feelings.
