It’s obscure but not bleak, it’s tough but upbeat at the same time, energetic and windy, and it made me think about a music scene I haven’t known but only heard about. A pop sound that darkens its nature without taking itself too seriously.
Ilir Zeneli produces buried vocals while strumming his guitar like a maniac, Travis Moore seems to beat the hell out of his drums, and Susan Raygoza remains very serious on bass.
They have been playing for about a year or so around LA and they were releasing a new record at Origami Vinyl.
