We Came As Romans, a band with a million members–Dave Stephens, Andy Glass, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore, Eric Choi, and Lou Cotton, comes from Detroit, Michigan. On their Facebook, their genre is “LOVE” but they’re considered Metalcore/Post-hardcore. On Equal Vision records and a band since 2005, they’re experienced and talented.
Originally called This Emergency, after the band became a broken up mess and changed to We Came As Romans, which sounds much cooler. They came out with the “Demonstrations” EP, then later that year, 2008, released the “Dreams” EP. Their first full length album, “To Plant A Seed”, was released in November of 2009. Their lyrics throughout all of their releases talk about love and have a message, and after being called a “Christian” band, WCAR confirmed that they are not.
We Came As Romans, who I’m lucky enough to be interviewing and seeing this Friday, are not an ordinary hardcore band.
So what’s so special about them?
