Patrick Stump is streaming his song "Allie" and from the first second, I loved it.
The man has so much talent, it's unbelievable.
His voice and singing style has changed a lot since Fall Out Boy… I think I like him better now. I've never heard a voice like his. The tune accentuates his full range so well- he can sing higher than I can! His vocals have always blown me away, but they do now more than ever.
The song is totally unique and shows off Stump's creative side. Each element of the song is melded perfectly together. Though it has a touch of pop, it still remains true to more alternative roots. It's catchy and completely original.
Not a single part sounds like any other artist or song. It's totally flawless and though it's so refreshing and new, I feel as though this kind of music is what Patrick Stump is meant to do. Stump is no longer 'just' the former lead singer of Fall Out Boy.
