It has been three years since Hayley Williams's Paramore and the horrendous Brand New Eyes, but now Hayley Williams is back in time to see former BFF Taylor Swift dump her for Selena Gomez abnd the world of pop move merrily along and into the future. Three years is a life time and Brand New Eyes kinda bombed as it was.
I saw em at Summerstage a year earlier and they were deadly.
But they have their fans so hey fans, here is the news, off Paramores very own website: "The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. “It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us.”
Sincere right? Well, if you've stopped throwing up in your mouth, any bets to just how badly this is gonna suck? Anyone at all? Paramore are the Cranberries of power pop, they aren't bad human beings, they are just bad songwriters.
