It’s no surprise Panic! At The Disco’s February 1st, New York show sold out.
Their new tune “The Ballad Of Mona Lisa” was leaked and it’s just so fantastic. By far the best song, piece of music, best anything they’ve ever put out. Brandon’s voice has gotten stronger, and Spencer’s just drummin’ it away. It’s really them at their best and their abundant talent is spectacular.
(Even though I feel slightly horrible for listening to this before it’s actually released by the band.)
Regardless, I’m more than impressed. It has the same feel as their songs on A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out and I’m pretty sure I know why. Ryan kind of reverted the band, when he was in it, to make a more Beatle-y sound(e.g. Pretty. Odd.) Now that Brendon and Spencer have control- they’re back to playing what P!ATD started out with.
