The thing is: there is no moral to this story, no sneer value, no hubris, nothing at all. It just sits there like a bouquet of hydrangeas under a table.
Short version: a fan of Madonna gave her a bouquet of hydrangeas Madonna put them under the table and said to an assistant "I absolutely loathe hydrangeas. He obviously doesn't know that."
