Oasis Back In 2014?

Maybe Probably back next year

You think you’re sick of us writing about the late great Oasis now, well just you wait. With the 20th Anniversary of the releases of Definitely Maybe heating up for 2014 , the entire United Kingdom is readying themselves to get their nickers in a twist over the brothers Gallaghers possibly maybe reunion to perform the entire Definitely Maybe album. How good is it, by the way?

It’s great, it’s top, it’s better than anything Blur ever did, it is better than Parklife, which was pretty great  anyway. The reason is that Parklife was a portrayal of London near the turn of the century and Definitely Maybe was an explosion over the dark gray skies of Manchester around the same time (actualy, a couple of years earlier)  Real life beat out Park life.

It was huge in the UK, though the next album was so big it came inches from breaking Oasis big in the States.

Oh, ps they sucked on stage as well. I saw em a lot, I saw em at the Academy when DM was released and Jones Beach (with Screaming Trees and Manic Street Preachers opening) a couple of years later and they sucked both times. And many times up to and including their last New York show at MSG just before they split. I think they were great maybe once.

But I digress.

Gigwise wrote that the  Daily Mail wrote that a promoter told the Daily Mail  that Oasis had been offered a huge sum of money to perform together next year. Now this is all very deny deny deny right now, but ask yourself this? How much money dya think Noel has made off High Flying Bird, eh? Enough to support those mansions and Rolls Royces he owns? And ex wives?

So expect a lot more speculation, guys
