Nose It All by Woody Fuller

I usually spend my lunches roaming through various NYC parks, normally Union Square b/c is close to my work. But more importantly b/c are the great diverse crowd it attracts, in which I can then stare at, privately judge, and talk shit about; but to be PC we just call it ‘People Watching’, don’t worry, I know what I’m really doing.
The crack head crew can always provide some entertainment, same with the young hipster skaters, and there is almost always someone playing some sort of music.
This past week, I stumbled upon one of the more unique music acts I have encountered in my day. I met 14 year old Jed at park he was playing the recorder, actually two, with a hat at his feet trying to make some money to buy silly bands or whatever else 14 year old buy these days. I would have bought nothing and saved the money in bank b/c I’m cheap and Jewish.
Back to Jed, I said he was playing two b/c he was, one in his left nostril and one in his right. I was shocked but instantly intrigued as well. After a closer listen, I heard he was playing some Lady Gaga, in perfect harmony. I had to talk to this kid.
After a brief convo, I found out he could also play “Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9” “Polly Wolly Doodle” “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” “Louie Louie” “Wild Thing” and “Under the Bridge.”
He was in process of thinking of his alias, all he has at this point is ‘duetted nostrils’. Sorry Jed not a fan, how about ‘Nose Candy’, no thats not good either, with a name like that, in years to come, I’ll find you back at the park not doing so hot.
Jed also plays guitar, claiming to be more Malcolm Young than Angus.
Best of luck my young nosed friend.
