Good idea, eh?
I discovered it because there is a Sloan -the great canadian rock band, hit singles album available for free and i like Sloan a whole hell of a lot (ps: here is that link http://noisetrade.com/sloan )
So I snooped about.
The softward is excellent, the tip the band a great idea, and the website a dream of engineering.
The bands… well, I looked at their mos downloaded and i don't know one: The Mad Pride? Eric Contractor, Jillian Edwards, A Minor Bird -looks very alt rock-y too me.
Noisetrade should do themselves a favor and give their fans a stream option. Perhaps you can become a member and then have the option to stream? Really, mp3's are going the wy of the dodo.
Still, it's a great site. Here is the home link: http://noisetrade.com/
