Although I admit Noel Gallagher would have a hard time hitting the lows of Jack White's atrocious theme from the last Bond movie, he would give White a good run for his money. I mean these guys could get anybody. They've had Tom Jones. They've had Shirley Bassey. Why the hell would they want Noel Gallagher?
It looks like we are gonna be stuck with him.
A source told Limey tabloid the Sun "They're going to talk about potentially writing and performing the song for next year's new Bond film. Nothing is signed or official, it's just being discussed at the moment."
15 years ago, I could absolutely see it. Noel Gallagher, who blamed cocaine on his brilliant Be Here Now, he could've done it: the man whose three track ending "All Around The World"/ "It's Getting Better Man/"Reprise". The flake behind High Flying Birds, doesn't have the ego or insanity necessary to write a song big enough for the franchise. Also, the franchise should insist on Liam taking over the vocals. The brothers don't even have to be in the same room ever. But Noel can't sing it.
