No More: A Novella… But Will I Write It???

As a life long day dreamer, I always felt writing fiction was just a variation on the theme. Instead of daydreaming being, say, irresistable to women, or vanquishing your enemies, you daydream less ego friendly, more constructed stories for yourself.

And so I've written fiction for as long as I can remember.

Except now.

rock nyc takes all my brain power and I have nothing left. So I keep a scrapbook and fill it with ideas and figure I'll get back to it before I die.

But this idea, if I could just find the time, is a goodie. It is a variation on Gore Vidal's follow up to "My Brekinbridge", "Myron". In "Myron" the transexual Myra is back to being a man in suburbia when he finds himself stuck in a loop of the 1948 movie "Sirens Of Babylon" going round and round?

My idea was to have a character stuck in the Elvis Presley movie "Blue Hawaii", going round and round and round on the outskirts of the movie. That's about all I have but whenever I write a type of dystopia tends to occur. And given Presley's state of mind while he was filming it, the concept of following a zombiefied Presley around for eternity while he lacklustly pursues love and success on his own terms, is actually kinda scary.

In the story, I will call it "No More" if and when I write it, I will make some of the minor characters take center stage. I once wrote a full length novel in which the sotry kept getting interrupted by the minor characters who are trying to push their way to the front.

And finally, while I know the movie very well, this will also take some research (which I hate doing)
