Nellie McKay Sings Doris Day At Feinstein’s A Must See

I, in common with most smart people, worship the virgin queen Doris Day: as the best comedienne of her generation, Miss Day’s work Rock Hudson and Cary Grant is the gold standard of light comedy.

And she was as subtley sexy as any one could be. Forget “Que Sera Sera” (From “The Man Who Knew Too Much” co-star? James Stewart. Director: Alfred Hitchcock) and try “Move Alove, Darling”.

Singer Nellie McKay recently released an album of Day covers and is bringing her show to Feinstein’s. I’ll be there and so should you.
