Neither Usher, Nor Justin Bieber, Nor The Two Combined, Is The New Michael Jackson -by Iman Lababedi

Let’s figure the foreign policy is as follows:
Justin Bieber handles pre-Off The Wall MJ
Usher handles Off The Wall and onwards.
Between em? They are white and black enough to please everybody.
It will never work.
Justin doesn’t have the talent and Usher is too aggressive. The reason I mistook a black President as the end of racism is I forget to notice what was being picked. The President is the calm Black Man. Figure, Driving Miss Daisy is one stereotypical of black man and American Gangster is another: if all that can be seen are the two stereotypes, nothing that happens has any meaning. And if only one stereotype is acceptable, the norm, the real person of color, is being stereotype before he opens his mouth. Still.
MJ was barely a man or black, he really was Peter Pan.
Bieber has already moved past  the boy forever portion of his career, and Usher never had one.
Usher, like many rappers, terrifies mid-America, and you can never win or presidency nor be the King of Pop, if half your constituency thinks you  are a threat.
