National Public Radios Top Albums Of The Decade: The Transmigration Of Souls?

NPR’s most important album does not preclude classical music apparently. Composer John Adams takes top honors but lovely music disturbing music (I’ll eview it at some point) written in memory of those who lost their lives on 9-11. Hard to disagree really.

It starts off a little too hiighbrow for my tastes but settles in nicely. No dance music at all. Dance is to msuci critics in the 00s what hip hop was to critics in the 80s. A little too highbrow. Like hip hop was just rhyming, dance is just BPMs with only Britney making a token appearance.
