I am back to work Friday but as long as I am in the here and now here and now i figured I’d give Stereogum a visit and sometimes they are too obscure for my taste.
But not today.
Today there is a cool onstreperous dance rocker “Tell ‘Em” off electronic duo Sleigh Bell’s eagerly anticipated first album Treats.
And if that isn’t enough the late great Jerry Fuch’s drumming is included in Holy Ghost’s take on LCD Soundsystem’s “Say My Name” -a discoish smooth dance number.
“Tell ‘Em” is the best new song I’ve heard since I got back from North Carolina.
